Psychologist sessions are 50 minutes in duration and at this time, face to face appointments can only be facilitated on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Online sessions are available via video or phone and can be facilitated for any available appointment time on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

 

The fee structure for individual sessions are less than the recommended rate by the Australian Psychological Society for 50-minute sessions and are comparable to similar services.

Medicare

 

If you have a referral (i.e., Mental Health Treatment Plan) from your GP, psychiatrist or paediatrician you are entitled to a Medicare rebate of $96.65 for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Please note a referral is only needed if you wish to receive the Medicare rebate.

Private Health Fund

 

If your Private health fund provides coverage for psychology and you would like to use it to claim a portion of your sessions, a receipt will be provided once payment for your session has been received. Please note, you will need to check with your provider how much your private health fund will cover.

Cancellations

 

If you need to change or cancel the date/time of your appointment, please contact me at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time. With enough notice, those who are waiting for an appointment can book into the available session.

 

Except for unforeseen circumstances, cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged 50% of the fee. Non-advised non-attendance (i.e., no show) will be charged 100% of the fee. Please note, Medicare rebates do not apply in the cancellation fee.
